Clerk-Treasurer's Office

The Clerk-Treasurer is a key official in local government and is the Chief Financial Officer for the Town. The Town of Shoals Clerk-Treasurer’s office is dedicated to providing the best customer service to its citizens. We are here to assist and answer any questions you may have about your water utility bills along with any concerns you may have about our day to day Town Operations.

It is important to us assist the public with accessing public information documents or other information pertinent to the Town of Shoals.

What We Do

Prepare and distribute the town payroll, annual budgets, all reporting required by the state and county.
Process all incoming revenues and disbursements for expenditures.
Maintain all records required by law including the minutes of all town meetings, resolutions and ordinances.
Perform many other duties prescribed by state statue.

Notes

The Town of Shoals services around 430 water and wastewater utility customers. We accept cash or check for payment of utility bills.
